Pure SW
1. Create a ROMHOLD/Binary image for configuration. The image can embed in BIOS.Need build a toolkit to setting the binary file for PE engineer.
2. Embed the configuration image to EC pace, BIOS can to use specfical OEM command to get the information.
SW/HW
1. Module provide a identification pin, such as a pull high pin, BIOS/EC can to read pin state. a module need allocate a GPIO to read.
2. Use EC/ADC channel to read a identification channel, all module just need a wire-OR identification channel.
Reduce power leakage, use a gpio to control a N-MOSFET for the idenfication channel power.
When BIOS built ACPI table to fill the configuration information in ACPI table.
